桂金山,教授,博士生导师,浙江农林大学省部共建亚热带森林培育国家重点实验室-植物细胞壁功能基因组学研究团队负责人。主要围绕木竹材细胞壁形成过程中的重要科学问题和木材改良中亟待解决的关键技术,开展了较为系统的研究。已取得如下成果:1)鉴定到一系列与木材形成相关的类受体激酶,揭示了类受体激酶ASX调控木质部分化的分子机制;2)发现了木质素合成的“感应开关”LTF1,并利用该开关基因的原理,建立了木质素合成精准调控技术体系;3)揭示了Remorin蛋白在平衡植物生长与抗逆过程中的作用机制。研究结果已发表SCI论文19篇,其中以第一作者或共同通讯作者在Developmental CellMolecular PlantNew Phytologist等期刊上发表研究论文10篇,授权专利4项。2016年获得赛诺菲-中国科学院上海生命科学研究院优秀青年人才奖;2017年入选中国科学院青年创新促进会会员;2020年获得国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金资助。

研究方向

以杨树、竹子和水稻为材料,应用多种技术手段,探索细胞壁加厚过程中的关键信号及其传导途径。通过建立杨树类受体激酶的基因编辑突变体库,我们已成功鉴定多个影响次生木质部发育的关键类受体激酶。我们的研究重点包括:

1.类受体激酶介导木材细胞壁加厚的分子机制解析;

2. Remorin基因家族的演化与功能;

3.木材材性关键基因的定向演化。
